The Charterhouse Speedseed 1600 has a 1.6m working width and works efficiently to overseed large areas. It works as a commercial dimple seeder and creates seed pockets in the soil, using an adjustable aperture gate and adjustable gearbox to calibrate a precise drop rate for different seed sizes.

High level seed-to-soil contact is achieved through conical ring sections punching the small pockets into the ground and a roller closes the holes to complete the job.

It requires 30 HP minimum.
